Her research is fuelled by her curiosity and never ending will to discover and learn new things. Zoom in the colours, textures and details of the Beans calendars.

I love colours, we got that now… But when I make things, they are a few other things that makes my heart dance.
One of them is choosing materials and in this specific case: my paper.
It’s a moment of slowing down and connecting with all my senses and emotions. (My own meditation practice somehow).
The look, the texture, the feeling, even the sound and smell… no tasting the paper obviously but when I’m going through paper samples , I feel happier than at a food buffet ! (Those who ever shared food with me know 🙈).

Thank you @printdotcomfr for sending over the biggest and prettiest paper sample folder I ever had! And for printing these vibrant and flawless babies!

A year of Beans… Mood is changing, colours are

A year of Beans…
Mood is changing, colours are staying.

Creating these 12 little visual stories gave me (a great time &) the opportunity to dig in my decoration & art treasures*…
*because I need white and empty space to feel good as much as I love collecting beauty.

This video features :
- an amazing piece by @tommartinart (in the big frame) which is, I think, my first art acquisition. One that really inspired my practice. Can you tell?
- my grandmother’s mirror
- framed candies and matches from around the world. (Best thing to bring back & it takes no space in your bag)!
- vintage lamp and turntable (design nerd)
- and a very very small selection from my pretty art book collection. (I use to be a designer at the @museeorsay and two of my cover designs are hidden in this video… I also worked at the @vamuseum bookshop and the employee discount didn’t help with my book problem) 🙈
